EDUCATION LANDSCAPE OF INDIA
With over 700+ universities and 37,000+ colleges in India, the education landscape of India is a complex one. A significant number of students in India have to appear for standardized tests a.k.a. “competitive exams” or “entrance exams” in their chosen fields. Students that appear for a competitive examination in India often prepare for that exam for months in advance, and even take gap years to prepare.
The market for educational products in India is massive, with over 20 million students graduating from high school every year. While urban city centers are relatively well-served in terms of educational services, smaller towns do not have the same kind of access to education services. This is why reWise Me as a platform targets B and C tier towns in India.
